My parents and I went shopping in Carrefour today, spotted a mini laptop, Acer Aspire-one. It's outlook was quite nice, price was cheap (RM899) and I think it's functions are quite okay. Daddy said since it was sooo cheap, why not get me this mini netbook. At first I was okay with the idea until I started playing with it. I felt as if this netbook is going to drive me nuts for the first few months if I were to use it but since it will help me to get my work done in my college days, I said "OKay, if mum allows." OF course, If I wanted it, I would have to ASK FOR IT. With puppy eyes and lovey dovey words I asked my mum and to my surprise she said "Are you sure? it is so cheap. I don't trust Carrefour's price for laptops. If you want it, buy it somewhere else, not here. This laptop might be useless! Get a better laptop!" In my heart I was like "huh????? When I ask for a cheap laptop you say no??? when I wanted a better laptop but a little costly you said No????? now you say get a better one???? Is it a YES to buying laptop??? Yes to buying a BETTER QUALITY laptop???? YES TO HAVING A LAPTOP OF MY OWN????" Since my mum did not agree to the mini laptop, ( which I was soooo glad they did not buy it) we went home and surf around the site for a much better laptop and cheaper ones. Of course, a good laptop is NEVER CHEAPER than RM1,000. So again, with the same puppy eyes and lovey dovey tone, I got my mum to agree to a RM2,149 laptop. I say, this Dell Inspiron 1525 is soooo much better than the Acer Aspire-one! I don't know what come over my mum but whatever did, I thank them or it! The laptop will be in my hands in a week or so! Yippee yay!!!
